Returns

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

The Fairfax headcollar was commissioned by the BEF to improve the comfort of Team GB horses during the long journey to Rio.

It features the Fairfax headpiece which significantly reduces pressure and enables the horse’s swallow mechanism to operate comfortably when eating & drinking during travel.

The Rio Headcollar is:
  • Cushioned with pressure-absorbing Prolite on the headpiece, cheek pieces and noseband
  • 30% lighter than most other travel headcollars generally used
  • Hand made in our Walsall factory from Sedgwick's first selection leather using quality brass fittings

NAMEPLATES:
Please contact us upon purchasing if you wish to have a nameplate added.
There is no additional charge for this service, however, headcollars ordered with a nameplate can take up to two weeks to arrive as they are ordered directly from Fairfax.

SIZING GUIDE:

Fine - for ponies and small horses, or horses with a very small head

Standard - for horses that usually wear a Cob or Full size bridle

Large - for horses that usually wear a X-Full bridle / XL Fairfax Performance Bridle
